Title: Threat of the Gloom
Fandom: Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Character: Link
Rating: PG (canon-typical threat from monsters, mention of a narrow escape from death)
Summary: Among the worst of the horrors in the Depths are those moving pools of gloom with their many hands.
-
Making his way through the pitch-darkness of the Depths, Link knows all too well that danger lurks at every step and around every blind corner.
Among the worst of the horrors here are those moving pools of gloom, with their many hands and their glowing eyes in those hands and their eerie cackling; Link has already been caught by one of them once before, and it had threatened to crush and drain the very life out of him in its grasp and it was all he could do at the time to barely escape and scramble up the nearest tree just out of its reach before it could kill him outright.
No matter how many points of light he can bring to the darkness, he can never fully rid himself of the fear that another of those terrible things could suddenly spawn and chase him down at any time.
-
As always, comments and constructive criticism are both welcome and appreciated.
